Tuakau College has a range of different awards available for students to attain.

These include the Honours Awards, Prizegiving awards, Matariki Awards, sports awards and more.

The Tuakau College Honours Award is presented to students for outstanding Academic, Sporting, Cultural and/or Service Achievement.

The philosophy is that Tuakau College aims to recognise excellence in the four ‘kete’ with a view to promoting the pursuit of excellence. ‘Pai rawa atu i nga mea katoa – The very best in all things.’

This elite award, introduced in 2016, is the highest attainable at Tuakau College.
