SADD (Students against dangerous driving) is a charity that raises awareness of road safety through activities promoted by students in High Schools.
Tuakau College health Council is passionate about promoting SADD within the school and surrounding community
The students work in with providers such as police, Waikato District Council road safety coordinator, fire brigade, Auckland Transport, Curly’s towing and SADD national office to produce resources for activities for the whole school to be involved in.
In 2017 there was a SADD activity each term and in term 3, the month of September, there was an activity every week.
We are committed to continuing this level of activity in future years
