Tuakau College is experiencing roll growth and therefore has a Science Teacher position available for the 2024 academic year. We require a passionate, energetic teacher to teach in our Science learning rea, commencing at the start of Term 1, 2024. Physics knowledge is an advantage, but please state other specialist subjects.

We are seeking an outstanding classroom teacher who has good curriculum knowledge, strong classroom management skills and is passionate about helping students learn. This role will suit a teacher who is keen to learn and grow in a collaborative team environment.

We require a passionate, engaging and energetic person to lead and oversee our Physical Education and Health learning area, commencing at the beginning of Term 3, 2025 (3MU and 1MMA). This is a permanent full-time position that commences Monday 14 July, 2025.

We are looking for someone that has a genuine passion for working with young people

and the ability to contribute positively to the students that take Physical Education and Health. This outstanding classroom teacher will have good curriculum knowledge, strong classroom management skills, be passionate about helping students learn and must have experience

with NCEA. This role will suit a teacher who is keen to learn and grown in

a collaborative team environment.

The successful applicant will be collaborative, understand funding, be

organised and will oversee the Physical Education and Health learning area.

It is an advantage to have New Zealand teacher registration with the NZ Teachers Council. You must have a least 5 years’ experience in the classroom. Your conditions of work and salary are based on the Secondary Teachers Collective Agreement 2002-2025. The salary range is from $68,122 ($32.75/hr) to $99,216 ($47.70/hr). A salary assessment needs to be completed to decide the salary grade you will be placed on.​

We require a passionate, engaging and energetic person to lead and oversee the Outdoor Education programme, commencing at the beginning of Term 3, 2025 (1MU and 1MMA). This is a permanent full-time position that commences Monday 14 July, 2025.

Tuakau College is located in the North Waikato, in the town of Tuakau. We require a passionate, energetic teacher to teach in our English learning area, commencing as soon as possible.

 

This outstanding classroom teacher will have good curriculum knowledge, strong classroom management skills and be passionate about helping students learn. Experience with NCEA an advantage. This role will suit a teacher who is keen to learn and grow in a collaborative team environment.
