Mathematics Teacher (Regraded)
Tuakau College is located in the North Waikato, in the town of Tuakau. We are experiencing roll growth and therefore have a number of positions available for the 2024 academic year.
We require a passionate, energetic teacher to teach in our Mathematics learning area, commencing at the start of term 1, 2024.

This outstanding classroom teacher will have good curriculum knowledge, strong classroom management skills and is passionate about helping students learn. This role will suit a teacher who is keen to learn and grow in a collaborative team environment.
​
For overseas applicants you are required to have a three-year specialist Maths degree at Level 7 with a one-year teacher training Level 7 qualification. It is an advantage to have New Zealand teacher registration with the NZ Teachers Council. You must have a least 5 years’ experience in the classroom. Your conditions of work and salary are based on the Secondary Teachers Collective Agreement 2002-2025. The salary range is from $65,502($31.49/hr) to $95,400 ($45.86/hr).

Science Teacher Maternity Leave Position (Regraded)
Tuakau College is located in the North Waikato, in the town of Tuakau. Tuakau College has a maternity leave position available in our Science Department during the 2024 academic year. This will be a fixed term position that will commence at the end of Term 1, 2024 (03/04/2023) and end at the end of Term 1, 2025 (03/04/2025). Please advise of specialist subjects. Chemistry and Biology knowledge is an advantage.
