Tuakau College is experiencing roll growth and therefore has a Science Teacher position available for the 2024 academic year. We require a passionate, energetic teacher to teach in our Science learning rea, commencing at the start of Term 1, 2024. Physics knowledge is an advantage, but please state other specialist subjects.
We are seeking an outstanding classroom teacher who has good curriculum knowledge, strong classroom management skills and is passionate about helping students learn. This role will suit a teacher who is keen to learn and grow in a collaborative team environment.

Key Responsibilities

Manage the school's business, property, and administrative operations.

Work with the Principal to develop and monitor budgets, reporting, and long-term planning.

Manage contracts, procurement, and key service providers.

Support strategic planning and organisational growth initiatives.

Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, Ministry requirements, and school policies.

Foster a positive, collaborative culture across all operational functions.

Provide high-level advice and support to the Principal and Board.

We require a passionate, engaging and energetic educator to lead and oversee our Performing Arts learning area, commencing at the beginning of 2027 (3MU’s and 1MMA). This is an exciting opportunity to develop this fast growing learning area!
