SENCO/Te Whare Ako

The Learning Support team is made up of the SENCO, ESOL teacher, and Teaching Assistants.

Students with additional needs are fully integrated into mainstream classrooms, where Teaching Assistants offer support to create an inclusive learning environment. Tuakau College is deeply committed to fostering inclusivity.

 

The Te Whare Ako space serves as a central hub for the SENCO, ESOL teacher, and a dedicated wellbeing area. This calming wellbeing space is designed to provide students with a peaceful environment where they can feel relaxed and supported.
