Kauhoe
During Term 1 and Term 4 students participate in swimming as part of the Physical Education programme. The Tuakau College Swimming Sports Championships and Tabloids are held in Term 1 at the Tuakau Centennial Pool.
In 2022, due to COVID-19 'Red' settings, we were unable to hold our Swimming Tabloids, but we were able to have our Swimming Championships! Tangaroa placed first with 174 points, Ruaumoko placed second with 156 points, Tane Mahuta placed third with 89 points and Tawhirimatea placed fourth with 57 points! A special congratulations to Charlotte Hyland-Mills who broke all five of her own records!

The 2021 Swimming Sports were held on Friday 26 February. Students had a great day of swimming, water, games, challenges and tabloids! The day started off with our Swimming Championships in the morning. Ruaumoko placed first with 177 points, Tangaroa placed second with 153 points, Tane Mahuta placed third with 149 points and Tawhirimatea placed fourth with 101 points! A special congratulations to Charlotte Hyland-Mills who broke all of the Senior Girls Swimming records! In the afternoon we held our Swimming Tabloids which was full of laughter, fun and smiles! After a very close battle Tane Mahuta were announced the winners, with Tawhirimatea and Tangaroa placing second equal and Ruaumoko placing fourth!
