COST: Dependent on the location of events.

REQUIREMENTS: Transport to events. Meet the entry requirements for the regional or national championships at our school Swimming Sports.

PRACTICE DAY: Students practice in their own time.

​

SEASON: Term 1

​

During Term 1, students have the opportunity to compete in the Swimming Championships. Most events are 2 lengths of the Tuakau pool (66.7m) to ensure students are capable of swimming the minimum 50m requirement for zone and regional competitions.

​

Students who do not want to compete in the Championship event have the opportunity to participate in the Tabloid Swimming Sports. This event is a house competition with a range of fun events to build house spirit and earn points to win the house shield!
